Relationships in 09...

I was on Twitter and i asked my followers to give me an idea to talk about on here n this is what they gave me =)

Its all based on individuals and what people allow in relationships and what people grow up seeing. If you grow up in a household where theres no mutual respect in the relationship, you have either 2 choices. Reciprocate those actions or try to go against the grain. option 1 is more common tho.


We should follow the 'golden rule' Treat others the way you would want to be treated. If you dont want your girl/dude talkin all sexy to someone else... dont do it yourself. If you want them to do something for you, you gotta get out there and do something for them! Mutuality is A MUST!!! as many people who could be better off by themselves arent because they're trying to reach that love that they see in their grandparents. I mean, how many people u see now days stayin together for 10 yrs, let alone 50? Don't worry I'll wait.... slim to none, because there's a lack of respect, and LOVE! shit, hella people are infatuated and confuse that with love.. they run and get married, dont know shit about the other person. Then wonder why the relationship doesnt work.


Also, people take their partner for granted. Like just cus I HAVENT doesnt mean I WONT! lol. like no joke tho, get out there and show some MAD LOVE for your bf/gf. If you love them, show it everywhere. not just when its convenient... (ouch).


Anyway. just some thoughts... i'll add more tomorrow =)

Okay more thoughts... People back in the days werent so loose with their shit. Meaning... they werent slick out the lips to anybody once they had their own significant other. ie/ You dont "play" like you're in a relationship when u are REALLY in a relationship with someone. Thats disrespectful to both your partner and your relationship. 


In addition to that, for the sake of your relationships. PLEASE keep it real with ur bf/gf. Dont sugar coat shit cuz u dont wanna "start any problems." If you feel its gonna rile up somethin in your relationship, maybe... JUST MAYBE your ass shouldnt have been doing it in the first place. *shots fired* oooooooh. lemme sign off this.

When i think of black (all races of color) i think of beautiful women (even ugly) supporting one another from hate, discrimination, prejudice . On the other hand when i get on the net the only image i see of lesbians is the raunchy ass females with they titties saggin and they cooters all cut up from the dolla store razors they bought the day before. We need to stop the distorted image of black women in general.
Im tired of going on to myspace and downelink seeing asses and titties b4 i see a face. Nothing says imma jump off better then a display pic of breast and ass. I would prefer to see u fully clothed or your pretty brown, green or blues, juicy lips and pretty smile b4 everything else. The first thought that comes to mind after seeing ass n breast def is not wifey more like sceet, hoe, easy and then i move on after takin a peak at the ass.

So in order to stop this imma need you to tell all of ur friends on myspace, downelink, migente and black planet (if ppl still even use those sites) and any other site to stop distorting the image of color. We are a lot better then that we can be deep, intellectual, passionate, loving, creative and yet with one half naked display pic we are no long that image of a intelligent blk women we are considered bate .. come on now lets get it together
